Interview update

First of all, thank you all for the advice offered. I’d also like to thank the education tag editors for featuring my post. The education community on Tumblr has always been so warm and helpful to fellow teachers.

Even though the application process said that I’d have to pay $240 (the other $40 was for my Praxis score to be sent over,) after filling out the application the official website said I owed nothing… So, here’s hoping the application was complete…

Anyway, I decided to go ahead with the interview. The interview was incredible! They really liked me, and said that they had a middle school language arts opening they might consider me for, if I can get my language arts endorsement transferred over. Knock on wood and cross your fingers that everything works out.

EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: I have to keep reminding myself, even if they put me in the applicant pool, it doesn’t mean they’ll offer me a job.
